That is just a normal RTX 2070 Max-Q...no SUPER. I have posted the HP Official Product spec link into that deal. Check that out. However, for a Productivity Laptop, that is still a solid option.

Which 144hz one? The 144hz on the new 16.1 Pavilion gaming laptops is 72% ntsc which is 100% srgb, and the documentation for this laptop says 100 srgb so apparently they cover the same color gamut.

The Xbox for sure. A laptop should never be anyone's main gaming platform unless they are never at home.

Sidebar pet peeve: It drives me crazy that the wankers at Nvidia won't revise their naming convention so that this sort of thing is more clear. The people who care about this stuff know that not all...

Overall pretty good deal. If I didn't already purchase a laptop this would be a prime choice.

For your use case, you'll want the Asus Zephyrus G14 and make some tweaks to achieve 10-hour battery life.

Do yourself a favor and buy a sub-$2000 Macbook Pro 16 if you’re doing photo editing. Life is too short to deal with the many annoyances of Windows 10 PC ownership. Even the AMOLED display in the...

I have to say, that use of Optane as SSD is a waste. Optane die performs more close to DRAM than NAND. However, it needs to find its position in current computer system.

It's a new intel H10 SSD(OEM version), 32GB Optane could work as ram buffer for SSD or individual (setting in intel software). They are on the same chip (which means another slot is available).

I'm pretty interested in that $1150 one, but I'm not a big fan of that washed out look on a lot of gaming laptops. I see that the $1500 model (with the 2070) is $1500 and has an AMOLED display. Is...

I bought this model. The fan is not bad at all when browsing/youtube. Ocasionally it will kick in to cool down but stay quiet for the most part. The screen is 300 Hz and it's the best IPS screen...

I got the M15 recently for ~$300 more. It’s 1 pound lighter, thinner, prob better feeling build quality, 2070 vs 2060, 1TB vs 512GB. But...idk...maybe this is the Better Buy™?

Bit the bullet and ordered one. Will be picking it up tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas what kind of FPS I can expect on this laptop on Valorant with low settings? Would it be able to hold 200+ FPS...

Picked this up Open Box at Best Buy for 1049+tax. Excellent condition. Killer deal, 300hz screen is lol, wish it was 144hz to save on battery but oh well.

It's not like DRAM. It's just really good flash. I've got a 280GB 900P Optane drive so I certainly know what it is and have put my money where my mouth is. The 900P is a great OS drive due to...

I think this is a great deal and I'm considering buying myself. The only knock about this laptop is the CPU which I wish it was AMD and the 300hz screen is overkill so it will drain more battery.

Picked up mine earlier today, it's dead silent when playing Youtube videos in my case. I have it set to balanced mode, paying a full HD video for over 10 minutes.

The video card supports G-Sync if you have an external monitor with G-Sync capabilities. But the monitor attached to the laptop is not G-Sync capable. If it was I imagine this would cost more.

512GB SSD + 32GB Optane ??? Isn't that redundant? Or is the 512GB an SATA and the Optane NVMe?

Buy the 60 hz. Because of the photoshop photo editing, the high quality monitor (very accurate color) is more important than high frame rate.
