If you're serious about security, get a wired system, pull the cable, and view remotely. I've tested several wireless cameras as well as baseless wired cameras, all fall way short. Install...

Except theres about a dozen brands to choose from. To name a few brands Google nest, Ring, Blink, wyze, eufy, ezviz, amcrest, reolink, etc. At best i would rank the arlo in the middle of the list.

There are dozens of completely different cameras, yes. Arlo exists for situations where you don't or cannot get power to the location. The battery powered camera field is far narrower.

Arlo is terrible. The resolution is horrible and the lag is very significant. It used to not be this way but arlo killed the resolution on purpose.

Arlo cameras are garbage. Missed a break-in on my dads car when the camera was pointed DIRECTLY at the car in question. Don't go with Arlo, seriously they are the worst.
