I've thought about getting a resin UV printer for miniatures but these extra steps + the cost of the resin make it much less appealing. Thanks for the details! I'll stick with my FDM.

What do you do with the hazardous waste? These look interesting, but exceptionally expensive to run compared to filament.

You can get a wash and cure station like someone else said and you'd barely have to do anything besides venting the area so it doesn't smell. The resolution you get is worlds beyond FDM, especially...

True true! Barrels and chambers have to take immense pressure, and if the wrong material is used it can explode. 3D printing (plastic/resin) Is suited towards making custom grips and the sort.

If you're talking about "parts", you're probably getting into shearing forces and such. In which case...eh. My own personal feeling is that it's a more solid bond than you get from an FDM printer....

Yeah, probably. But it's not like they're getting slathered or anything. After I bring them in from the sun there's not even any color on them. So I'm guessing they're basically clean.
