True true! Barrels and chambers have to take immense pressure, and if the wrong material is used it can explode. 3D printing (plastic/resin) Is suited towards making custom grips and the sort.

If you're talking about "parts", you're probably getting into shearing forces and such. In which case...eh. My own personal feeling is that it's a more solid bond than you get from an FDM printer....

A resin printer is far more involved but the level of detail helps offset the extra effort. I've got both and while I'll print minis on the FDM in a pinch, resin is my favorite of the two, hands down

agree. the quality is good.. for me, the dangerous resin, ISO alcohol and other PPE that should be disposed properly is too much to deal with. Cleaning the chamber, scraping old resin... filtering...
