I bought an FM transmitter and found that the volume was about 20percent of what the regular radio sounded like, so switching from one to the other was an ear bleeding experience.

What I meant is if I can identify the radio station some douche is listening to could I set it to that channel and possibly overpower the OTA signal.

Thats not going to happen because youll have your bluetooth set to an ampty station ie static noise. No ones driving around listening to an empty station

+1 to humming noise. The one had used to increase humming as I increase the speed of my car so annoying. Unfortunately I don’t know a better way to use Bluetooth phone audio in my old car.

I always get humming when my phone is on a charger going through an aux cable. I switched to bluetooth using an FM transmitter and the humming is gone. However, the unit I'm using is not this one...

I mentioned Anker being better in this regard in another post. However, none of their FM transmitters has volume control (my stereo volume knob not working) and none shows battery voltage either.
