Since you have an old pc, both are fine if you don't write large file to ssd regularly. Get the one cheaper per GB. I would save up and upgrade the PC later on.

If it's already got an SSD, chances are you won't see any real world difference unless this is some really low end SSD without DRAM.
The only reason to upgrade would be for capacity at that...

I would just not buy any SSD and instead put that money in to a new PC fund if you can't afford it now. The benefits of upgrading 12 year old components will outweigh the benefits of this SSD.

Lol I mean even just games can fill up 2tb easily nowadays. 4k.videos take a lot.of space, too. And if you do a lot of videos (like a YouTuber)and editing, that 2TB is like having 250gb SSD nowadays...
