That's personal preference. You're sacrificing thermals/airflow for silence. Depends on fans, CPU cooler, and whatever the consumer values more.

You're right, but the p300 isn't a solid glass front. It is just a plastic front.

You're probably talking about the original p300. This is the p300a with a mesh front, airflow and thermals will be top tier

I would recommend the p400S (silent edition) over this. It's much quieter. Worth the extra $$ in my opinion.
