Yes, they are that bad.

Feedback on these would be great

Curious as well. Most picky reviews suggest this is swill.

Waiting for the offers on Peet’s at Amazon warehouse would be a better deal, I guess.

Just here to add that L’Or aluminum pods are pretty good too. Would rank nespresso > Pete’s > L’Or > Starbucks

I’ve tried a lot of the nespresso pod deals on here and usually regret it. I’ve gotten these before and it doesn’t compare to Nespresso brand, Peet’s or even the Starbucks pods. I only keep these...

Weak, bitter tasting and not so much creama. Might be good for some people. IMO I’d stick with Peet’s or nespresso.

Where do the 10+ TU come from? India?

Not a fan, but when I bought them they were in plastic capsules. They appear to be aluminum now.

Still plastic

We tried this brand it it was not great. For reference, our favorites are Nespresso brands (husband is a Ristretto drinker and I like Dulsao/Master Origin) and we also like Trader Joe's capsules.

I drink Nespresso and Starbucks. That's it.
Post #139595060 added 08-13-2020 6:23 PM by BootySandwich in Deal Talk
These are so bad. I’m not a picky coffee guy at all, but I found these hard to drink. I actually thought something was rotten in the “Intelligente” ones, but that’s just the way they taste. I threw...

So people actually think Nespresso is good? 🤮
Post #139576022 added 08-13-2020 6:18 AM by KevinD5908 in Deal Talk
I haven't tried this particular brand, but in my experience this style of capsule with the foil on both ends are complete junk. The espresso doesn't flow into the cup and leaks into my maker. I only...

There probably fine. Most people add so much cream and sugar to their nespresso they wouldn’t notice anyways....

I think it's a great buy even if the quality isn't up to Peets standards. Peets is by far the best. I ordered 3. Appreciate OP sharing.

I bought this and its complete dog sheet!

I've tried these...save your money. Kimbo, Lavazza, and Vergnano are my go to brands. I bring them home from Italy when I go back home to visit my parents, can buy at much lower cost. I will add...

I'm still working through the last of my Storyville and they were fine... I'd order again at the discount price but definitely not at full price. I've been to Storyville at Pikes Place and they do...

I do not like the Storyville either. In general i try to stick to aluminum (Peets costco ftw), but I am super impressed with the Lavazza ones, especially the Leggero. Even now they are $0.50 a pop on...

Honestly if you’re into good espresso then only nespresso or Peet’s. Lavazza maybe, everything else is a hard pass
Post #139583969 added 08-13-2020 11:02 AM by Isiton in Deal Talk
Having tried lots of pods from different vendors, few hundred dollars later, here is my conclusion: Buy only Peets. Or buy Nespresso if you are one of those rich fellas....

So out of sheer curiosity I went through the photos in the reviews and it looks like they went from the plastic you had to plastic that looked like metal that they called "aluminum sealed" because it...

Not sure about these, but I learned my lesson buying nespresso pods off amazon. Ordered a large pack and the expiration date was only a couple weeks after I got them. From the comments, apparently...

Doesn't Nespresso claim vaccum sealed/frozen that will always stay fresh? Why expiry then? So it means they do go stale?
Post #139569302 added 08-12-2020 7:36 PM by usmanx93 in Deal Talk
Super low quality compared to Nespresso. If you’re looking to save money then it’s bearable. I personally would pay the extra for the quality.
Post #139570598 added 08-12-2020 8:50 PM by travisdinosaur in Deal Talk
I think they're required to put a date on them. My expired ones taste fine. The plastic and cheap ones? I've yet to find one drinkable. Storyville was ACCEPTABLE, but not GOOD. Peet's and...

adding to the pile - don’t buy if your taste in coffee is anymore sophisticated than it’s coffee vs it’s not coffee. So far the only good non-Nespresso pods I’ve had have been Peet’s. Bestpresso is...

Poor product. Yes, it's cheap per pod, but most people don't get a higher-end Nespresso to brew sub-Keurig level coffee/espresso. Stick with aluminum pods: Nespresso brand, Starbucks branded pods...

Yeah I was really not a big fan of even the Storyville capsules that people here raved about. For me, I will keep sticking to Nespresso and Peet's Crema Scura. I'll get Peet's Combo only if there is...

So these are 1/3rd the price of the real thing - are they really that bad? TraderJoe's has Nespresso at 40c each which I imagine are probably much better.

I bought these because someone mentioned that it's great for people that put cream in their coffee (I was so excited to try it and I tried it right away)...but man...even creamer and sugar can't mask...

Since I haven't seen any recent deals for Peet's, Nespresso, or Starbucks... I went ahead and got the L' Or variety pack. I think they are decent alternative and they are aluminum capsules. ...
