It is vague at best. AMD does not validate ECC support for the AM4 consumer platform, so vendors can implement it to whatever degree they wish.

I just did the research by looking at a few motherboards. As long as I am willing to set the ram timings manually, the 3600 ram shouldn't be a problem, for many of the boards that say 3200mhz max....
