Well. I honestly haven't been gaming much, either. For browsing, coding, etc. I vastly prefer just using it at 4K. Text will be a lot sharper.

Probably depends on hand size. If you have larger hands, the keyboard may be uncomfortable. If you have smaller hands, it's perhaps not an issue. The overall quality of the keyboard is great, though...

Do any of these AMOLED laptops have touch screen?
Post #139592252 added 08-13-2020 4:27 PM by aenews in Deal Talk
Only HP and Razer. And the latter carries the only other gaming laptop that offers 4K AMOLED w/ Touch. It's pretty expensive and only in the higher models (Advanced).

Oh yeah that's true as well. It's weird that it's off-center, but I've mostly gotten used to it. Having the webcam on the bottom is also not ideal, tho all webcams are pretty terrible anyways.

Ugh, webcam is on the bottom, FYI. Everything else makes this a perfect deal. But for COVID times, I want a flattering webcam angle please. At least it has a cover for it.

I have the 2070 version of this laptop and it has a 60hz refresh rate on the OLED screen, so it's not great for gaming in that regard compared to my last laptop, which was 120hz and noticably...

I had the XPS 15 OLED (same panel) and eventually sold it after 3 months. The bad: I found that the battery life wasn't enough with most websites being white, and I didn't like having everything in...

I have both the XPS 15 OLED and this Aero 15 OLED in my household. For our particular units, the Aero had significantly better calibration and calibration options.

Is it true that the Killer wifi card is kind of slow?
Post #139591259 added 08-13-2020 3:40 PM by aenews in Deal Talk
Yes. The 4K AMOLED panel is from Samsung. If anything, this is arguably better since it is Full RGB and not PenTile as with the AMOLED Samsung uses on smartphones.

Yes. I bought this for $1350 last year, as it was the lowest-priced high-end laptop with the 4K AMOLED Panel from Samsung. Totally worth it.

4K rocks. As do touchscreens. You have no idea how good it is to have them for those times that you need them, want them, so bad. And anti-glare / anti-reflective screen. Is another must-have.
