Just picked this mouse from Costco in Astoria NY. Logitech Performance Plus wireless mouse is exactly same as m705, even max DPI.

Thanks OP. grabbed 2 of these for back to school gear for kids. great mouse for the price. mouse is relatively light, some people like that others don't so just keep that in mind.

1,000 DPI for the m705 Agree, not fantastic for gaming but I find it very usable for the majority of my work which is mostly programming and some graphics (photoshop, illustrator, etc..).
