I already turn off auto payment. I no longer need to use the sim card. Do I need to call the cricket customer service to cancel my account? Or I just throw away my sim card? Thanks!

You can use RSIM anytime, it's not a permanent unlock. It works till IOS update patches the loophole. Not sure if the RSIM $15 even works for the new IOS versions. And the reason you want to activate...
