It's just you and the terms are correct. For iTunes purchases, the studios restricted Apple to only allow the HD version to be downloaded and viewing of the 4K only via streaming.

Just checked Vudu...these titles Do transfer in 4K but MA only transfers them in HD. So, if you buy on iTunes, you’ll get in 4K on iTunes (obviously) and also 4K on Vudu (linked to MA) but not in 4K...

I followed your instructions, bought through iTunes and it shows up as HDX on VUDU, not as 4k

I can confirm. I just turned on TDK (AppleTV app on Roku TV) and am watching the bank scene. It's in widescreen with black bars.. not in 1.78:1 ratio. See the discussion here also:...

They all only allow HD download. However you still own the SD/HD for download.

Logout of the Microsoft Store app. Go to the movie and click UHD. Then Buy. It will ask you to login and purchase the movie as you normally do.

FWIW, most of these DC movies are available on HBO Max, though not in 4K. They also don't have TDK Rises, which I bought today. Whew.
