Got and installed this fan last night. I don't why it get's so much hate. I have it on the middle setting and it feels great. Also I think it looks better than most fans.

I agree, the angle of the blades on the one in the OP are seen in such a way as to push more air out instead of down. Personally, on both fans, I will not buy another fan with an integrated LED...
