thx anyway. i followed all your steps but it's still not working. the controllers shows up everywhere in my PC but just doesn't work in game or on Steam. i think it's a firmware problem

Definitely returning the two I bought. There is noticeable input lag and the analog sticks aren't as sensitive as the joycons. But yes these should be enough for for younger siblings or guests 😂
