I think his point was that you would want to use charger with cable in those cases, because you will use the phone while it’s charging. Using the phone while wirelessly charging is difficult.

This sounds like the USB C port does 30W (in or out) and the USB A port does 12W (out only). 30W for laptops is good for charging while the computer is off.

Just received mine (10K Qi and 20K, all with lanyard/charging cables) and everything is new sealed. Tried it out and it works, with the Qi Fast Charging wirelessly. Hope this helps.
