Great little torches. I have the ts 8000 and use it for sous vide. Works great. Also great for starting a charcoal BBQ or campfire.

I got one of these from Lowe's as I was desperately in need of a torch. Its pretty good, adjusts fairly well, no quams so far.

I got this the last time around. Great torch. The 8000 is for professionals. For Creme Brulee, I would suggest either the 8000 or a smaller butane torch.
