Good deal for a China filter. These have 55 watt motors. The cylindrical Honeywell filters from the last generation were around 220 watts. So these are about 1/4 as effective.

I have 3 of 545 that I got from Costco and live in norcal. From my experience it does excellent job on smoke from wild fire smoke.

Actually, the filters of the C545 ($30) are cheaper than the C535 ($35) when on sale. The only issue is that since the C545 is using a new type of filter they've had trouble keeping it in stock....
