I'm pretty sure this is the normal price now with the mobile 4 out.
I returned my $120 mobile 3 + stand kit in favor of the mobile 4 for $150.
The mobile 4 has a clip on mount which is nicer...

The most noticeable difference is it uses a magnetic mount to hold the phone, rather than using a clamp.

For your basic needs, consider a Zhiyun Smooth X. Cheaper because it's only 2 axis compared to 3 axis with the OM3 but this makes the handle more compact and it's also extendable as a selfie stick.

you can use any tripod that's the standard 1/4 20.
the good thing about going with the DJI one is that most cases will have the exact cutout for it, whereas your 3rd party one won't fit nicely.
