Only good for 5000k bulbs
Post #140244140 added 09-09-2020 7:18 AM by abi.ra in Deal Talk
Yes it seems like a deal. But the claim of 25000 hours is dubious at best. I have had even name brand LED bulbs conking off in a year or two or mild usage.

But I absolutely agree with you that there are some promoted deals on here

For those thinking this might be a shill "deal", my Honey plug-in says the $42.99 price before the coupon brings it down to $24.95 is a recent increase from the previous price of $15.49. Looks...

Got these and put them in a couple of garages. Fantastic! Bright daylight white. Don't need them to dim. And the price is the best I've seen. Just buy 'em.

5000K is the daylight (whiter) instead of soft white (yellowish). Confused me when I was buying lightbulbs. However, the brightness of the lightbulb actually is the 1600 lumen (The higher the...

This is an amazing deal on dimmable lights! Just be advised that these are "5000K - Daylight". Generally subjective, but I've seen deals like this get bashed for it before; rather silly. If it's the...

gone are the days of 2008 slickdeals where this shill happened less. it's inevitable, i get it, but i miss those days when SD was a smaller community and posted quality B&M deals and it felt great...

Same experience. FEIT is the only brand in my home to have multiples go out within 6 months.

Can't stand "deals" like this that are all shilled up in the first comment by the product seller.

That code is on Amazon too. Under special offers

The coupon code, like many others, may not be "clipable", but to be fair to the OP and Maxlite, it wasn't sent either. The code is on the Amazon page under "Special offers for this item" - again,...

Received mine Monday from an earlier post (same deal) and they are indeed dimmable. Finally paired 4 of them with a Lutron dimmer in my garage last night and they work great. Time will tell about...

Excellent efficiency at over 100 lumens per watt (15 watts for 1600 lumens). But killer is CRI at only 82. Weird pink-orange illumination anyone? .

That first post really comes off as a shill. That said, 1600 lumen and dimmable for $1.56 per bulb is a pretty slick deal
Post #140242301 added 09-09-2020 6:02 AM by cobelali in Deal Talk
The seller offers 2700k, but the coupon doesn't work for that color temperature. That's too bad. There are a few places in my house where a 100-watt equivalent worked work better than the current 60,...

I used to work with MaxLite, great company and great people, also a pretty good product. I can confirm they do contract out manufacturing, though they do their own in-house r&d and testing

5000K still has some yellow in it, when you try to compare to a white paper you will see. 6000K starts having blue tint. In fact, standard calibration white point is 6500K Personally I will not...

Thanks, in for a set. I currently have some 800 Lumen dimmable but they are not bright enough. I haven’t seen many deals on the 1600 lumen dimmable LED.

Need a chrome addon that blocks all the shill posts. Fact that this 'deal' is on the front page is hilarious.
