Matabo good, HPT not so good. That said, it has a 5 year warranty. Try buying a 5 year warranty on any tool for $39, even a screwdriver! :)

I'm inclined to believe you. The Hitachi grinder I had died after very light work then realized it was out of the 1 year warranty. Still have the kit though! Ugh. The 5 year warranty...

Gotcha. I’m already invested in the Ryobi one plus system, and I can get their angle grinder for about 45 bucks. I’ll look at that instead.
