DP 1.4 does support a lot of BW. The ports available on these are enough to drive them at the max resolution. HDMI 2.1 is where we start seeing 4k @ 120Hz monitors sometime next year.

Most likely not, whatever HDMI version these monitors have, is enough to drive it at the stated specs. Plus this is not a gaming monitor anyways, most office/standard monitor won't benefit from HDMI...
