I went to Best Buy a few weeks ago to check out this model & the Ryzen 7 version. The aesthetics weren't appealing. I can attest to the poor thermals at least least on the i7-10750H with GTX...

What on Earth are you talking about? Go ahead and share with us a way to build a Desktop of half the price ($375) that matches this one, let alone one that doubles the power.

True...but I'm not going back to the place that just screwed me over immediately. I've had good experiences with both Dell and Lenovo.

just go small form factor PC and skip laptop gaming forever. You can easily make a tiny portable PC that's 2x the power of this thing for half the price.

That’s not the thermals, it’s their stupid battery technology, we replace those stupid things all the time, because they swell and grow to big for the case, so the whole thing just pops open.

Yes... the one you mentioned does have a better CPU... but did you know that this model actually plays games at a higher refresh rate?

He was talking about 32GB, so that would be an extra $130-$140 which would put this computer at $900 on top of the hassle.
