Would not recommend this as it's only 4K30. There are similar USB-C hubs (if not cheaper) that will do 4K60 (or higher).

I have this one as well and the 100 watt passthrough does not work out of the box. You have to use a Windows computer to do a firmware upgrade and that firmware upgrade never worked for me or a ton...

That's normal for a USB-C hub. If it's 4k 60hz, USB 3 port won't be possible on the same hub. If a USB-C hub/adapter supports more than one 4k 60hz, compression is used due to insufficient bandwidth...

The reviews aren't great. Many complaints about false 4k 60hz claim. Some complain USB 2 only. There's no magic here. 4k 60hz and USB 3 can't exist on the same hub.

Correct. If you really want 4k60, you should be using DisplayPort over USBC not USB3 over USBC.
