Its better if thwy have an aux, then you can use the bluetooth to connect to the transmitter, and a cable from the transmitter to the aux, also static deoends on where you live and frequencies used....

Hardwire (aux) will be better than Bluetooth soundwise, yes Bluetooth is nice and practical but static on aux cable only happens with a bad cable or poor plugs.

I have had this exact one for about a year and a half now and it's the best $9 I spent. It still works fine and I hook my iphone bluetooth to it and start cruising in my 2000 Honda Accord.

I seem to get way more noise and static when I have my phone charging while connected. When I unplug it sounds better, but still lots of static.
