These lights are awesome. They're not cheap led wafers like some are insinuating. Lithonia Lighting is legit. I purchased and had 21 installed throughout our home. Please keep in mind the dimmers...

Have these in my basement and they're awesome. If you're retro-fitting an existing can light, you might run into an issue with these being smaller than the whole that was cut. I found "oops...

That makes sense... I didnt thumb anyone anywhere lol. Only time i TD is when someone says a seriously juvenile joke, or they make dumb assumptions when its clearly not true whatsoever.

Any useful video on how to install these on 2nd floor room which has no recessed lights yet. I would love to do this DIY. I have done replacement of ballast lights with LED recessed ones in my...

text me and I will walk you thru the installing of the switch remotely, but you need wires and wire nuts.

In that case rotozip is best option, I wouldn't try cutting out 9" hole with a hole saw even if I had one, too large of a diameter that will twist out your hands if it gets stuck.

Not sure about thumbs down either but if you have existing fixture it's much easier to get retrofit LED with built in trim and cheaper as well. As far as cutting existing hole larger easiest is to...

These square Lithonia fixtures have round templates and they fit into round holes (8.25” diameter), not square holes.

Not sure why yall thumb down me. The hole saw has an anchor in the center that stablizes the drill. Without anything to grab on to, it's hard to make a clean cut. If you have super stable hands maybe...

I installed 3 of these from the last deal - the deal is valid for 3 color settings. There are other brands I have like Torchstar cheaper but single color. One drawback is the switch is atttached to...

Heads up I installed these a couple weeks back and these require a round 8” hole

LED is all about color. The color temp hardly feels the same as other lighting source's (cfl, halogen, etc). Cheap Amazon ones would give you extremely weird color to your room

Anyone know the CRI on this? Assuming it's 80.

I'm confused by what you mean... If you have an existing hole, and you're trying to cut a bigger one out.... Don't you just find the invisible center and bore it out? I've done it before, so...

I understand your pain. You have to take our the old box/can from previous light, not just the cone. That's the problem. cutting square hole is simple.

Yeah the hole saw only works for new install. In my case I wanted to replace an existing light.
