I think you are the opposite. Taller side wall make the actual speed higher than the speedometer. Because car calculate speed based on rev. Now one rev travels longer, but car still think it travels...

What tires did you have on it? I had an '07 Boxster with PSS and then Conti ECS on it and never had that problem. Putting all-season tires on a sports car is like a sprinter running in street shoes.

I put these tires on my Kona EV, handles the instant torque perfectly. Quite a lot of tire noise but probably only perceptible in an EV with no engine noise.

Great price for good all season tires! Fits the lower tier prius models. This mixed with a 60 buck install from a local tire shop will save you over a hundred compared to the current costco deal.
