Highly recommend this series. While the first book is good, the 2nd and 3rd are fantastic! Haven't had a chance to read 4 and 5 yet, but I'm definitely planning on it.

GREAT book. This one is probably my favorite in the series. Agree with some other comments that the newer books (the second trilogy) are not quite as good as the first trilogy.

I think "trilogy of trilogies" is the goal. The first three books was a trilogy, then books 4 and 5 were setup completely differently. Almost to point that they seemed like "in universe" stories...

Excellent trilogy. HIGHLY recommend springing for the Audible versions, though. The narrator really brings the story to life. One of the best audio book series I've listened to.
