Yes, I have the same experience with the stainless pot. It is sticky, and leaves stains/scratches after rigorous cleaning. I see Teflon coating as a plus.

Wow. Good deal because I got the 6 qt for the same price. Best cookware I ever bought. And if you like to meal prep (make 2x batches), I recommend the 8 qt and Teflon coated bowl. I can barely make...

I have the 6 quart variant. Got it for $27.00 shipped a couple years ago. I love it mostly for making stew in the winter. Also chicken cacciatore and homemade tomato soup. Spaghetti sauce is a bit...

The 8 quart makes enough Pho soup for 6 large bowls. It only takes 1 hour vs 8 hours boiling the traditional method. Highly recommend at this price.

The Insignia is like the IP Lux model in that it doesn't have 1) no high/low, only high, so making yogurt, etc is more of a manual effort, 2) no slot in the handle for the lid, very convenient...

I own this one and use it a couple of times a week. Other than it not being instapot branded, I don't care for the stainless steel pot. If anything, this is easier to clean. The only downside to...

I'm going to get one to see if the pressure cooker is worth all the hype we hear. For $40 it's a cheap easy entry point. After a few years if we use it frequently I'll upgrade to the IP.

Anyone want to weigh in on this? Are you paying more for the IP name or is there way more reliability/longevity with the IP brand?

I used one of these religiously last year and it's great. Just make sure to replace the seals on the lid as they tend to absorb the smell of the food you are cook over time and could taint things...

These pressure cookers do their job. I recently upgraded to an instant pot crisp and couldn't be happier tho. It's great that you can fully pressure cook chicken in 10-15 min and then cry it for...
