It can be taught, just like love, sharing, caring.. etc is taught. Of course, if the parents show these qualities it can be easier for the kids to follow their example.

Highly recommend this app. Got it some time ago. It even keeps teaching once they "win". My granddaughter loved the process of "teaching" the monster and it absolutely helped her learn.
