43" 4k pixel size is 0.245mm, density is 103.7ppi. This 34" pixel size is 0.231mm and density is 109.7ppi. No big difference. The only advantage to me is curved shape.

I just ordered a 43 4k monitor from Buydig for $560. The main benefit being able to use it multiple modes. The split screen would be nice to have multiple contents on the screen.

I have a TCL 43" TV with PA panel and a AOC 43" monitor with IPS panel. I use TV for work and monitor for rest, they are both fine, no flicker issue at all. You have to try it.
