Imho, yes. The 8 series gets much brighter, has more mini leds and dimming zones... I own the 8 75 and don't believe any tv can beat it at or near it's price.

That brand has a build quality problem. So so so many reviews on how they fall apart. I wouldn't touch a hisense. They probably do have a great picture while they are still working though.
