It's not the fastest in term of pcie 4 and it's successor has already launch with much better speed. if you gonna go pcie 4, might as well go 2x the speed of pcie 3 instead of this.

Gotta think of it in reverse,if you were upgrading a Mobo, getting X570 or b550 would be better than buying a shitty Intel board. Ssd prices will come down.. mobos not so much.
