I would not go with 5000k for the inside of my house, but I did put 12 of ensenor ones (same style) in my garage - AWESOME! It lights up like the sun in there now.

Honestly, switching to "daylight" from warm white is worthwhile. It sucks for a while, but once you get used to, it's much better. Everything looks more "accurate" under cooler lights(to an extent)....

I go full-on 2200k with the Philips ambiance in lamps mostly and I think it helps with sleep rhythms. Above 3000k is for the garage and refrigerator...
