I would say much more rpg than a souls game. Combat not quite as tight, but still fun. I would say closer to witcher 3 than dark souls.

FYI re the FF games, Microsoft announced last year that all of the games would be coming to game pass. I think at this stage 7, 9 and 15 have come, so I think that leaves 8, 10(-2), 12, 13 (-2,-3).
