Any issues with that seam on the bottom? Did you use the footprint when it was raining?

If anyone grabs the 4p, please weigh parts and let us know... suspect swapping for a different footprint and titanium stakes might make this a win, and there aren’t many options for larger affordable...

Want to pull the trigger but I keep staring at the seam that runs the bottom from door to door

5-8lb is ridiculous for a "backpacking" tent. For $80 not sure what else is out there though. If it's quality, seems like a good deal for a car camping tent. Edit: the weight definitely does...

Received the 2p tent today and set it up in my basement. My one point of comparison is the Eureka Mountain Pass 2. My initial thoughts: 1. A bit of a challenge to setup for 1 person, but doable. ...

Intrigued by the 4p but there is only one opinion out there.

This thing looks identical to my REI passage 2. Canopy and all, same color scheme as well.

I would argue that it's too light for car camping. I'm not saving weight in a car, I'd like to stand up in the tent. If money is what's stopping someone from trying out backpacking, a couple extra...

I don't really disagree... nothing wrong with a big ol' Coleman for car camping. I do think it's kind of a weird in-between tent... heavy for backpacking, short for car camping. But if you want a...

Monoprice For those interested Note, offer valid while promotion last. You can easily carry these since they weigh approx. ~5.2lbs-8.8lbs. Monoprice Pure Outdoor 2-Person 20D Ripstop...

I’d consider this more a car camping tent. And NTK makes better rents around this price. https://ntkglobal.com/products/cherokee-gt-3-4-family-camping-tent/

The NTK tent has fiberglass poles and polyester fabric. Those are much cheaper, inferior materials. The NTK tent is not better by any means.

just used the 2p on a backpack this weekend. 2 people fit fine, pretty cozy though, so i hope you like that person you are with. Definitely set this up before you go. Instructions were lacking as...

I put the corner stakes through the loop on the rainfly, the tent loop, and the footprint loop. Stake all three with the same stake; worked well.

I got this tent as well and also thought it was unusual to set up. I ended up returning it but on the rainfly, did you just strap it onto the poles where the tent attaches to the poles?

2 person still available for $72. 4 person says discontinued, must be oos.

For the 2 person tent, the tent materials are pretty thin (20D and 30D ripstop), but the footprint is reasonably thick (75D ripstop). It's a bit on the small side for a 2 person tent (29 sq ft vs...

It is on sale for $110 now! I received this and set it up in the backyard. Fly is interesting to set up but should be easier now that I’ve done it once. Mine is going back because a strap is sewn on...

Any word on the quality of this tent? can't seem to find any reviews. The weight is good at around 5lbs. Constructions seems solid. Are the materials durable?

I'd be interested to know what the weight of the footprint is. Ditching it for something light and cheap like polycro might save you 6-8oz. At 4 1/2 lbs and $79, you're going to be hard pressed to...

Eh debatable. That's as thick as many ultra light tents. It is thin for it's weight, I agree. but should be durable enough with being careful. Many ultra lights are 20D.

5lb for a 2 person is probably closer to my old Kelty grand mesa than my MSR Hubba or Big Agnes Copper Spur. Reasonable for overnight packing, but probably too heavy for a multinight. Material weight...

I bought it on the 1st sale for $160 (and trying to get a refund on the difference). At $120 this is s steal imo. Great tent; btw, I'm almost positive the listed weight "includes" the 2nd set of...

The Q&A also says the packed weight includes the second set of stakes as well. Still too heavy for what it is. If you're on an under $100 budget, there are ozark tents that weight less.

I thought the seams looked great when I used it 2 weeks ago. Highly recommend at this price.

hey guys, I am considering 4p tent for myself from monoprice for backpack camping. It is still on sale. Any pros/cons, input from who own it? Thanks

Thanks for info! I saw that it even cheaper now. Wonder what if we can wait? Maybe it can be had for less than $100?

I used my new 2p tent this weekend for two nights. Great tent for $80 (or less). A bit wonky to setup, but once up, it's sturdy and well made. My biggest complaint is that you can't adjust the...
