What's the warranty on this? Geek squad additional warranty seems ridiculously overpriced

Are you sure Visa will cover the warranty? Isn't the extended warranty only for New or Manufacturer Refurbs?

Now it's harder to decide whether to pick up this Omen or the Lenovo Legion on amazon for 999. The Omen only comes with 8gb, but easy enough to pick up another one.

Well, the fact that this model is about 7 weeks old.... But when it first came out, you could have gotten the 16GB with 1TB HD for $1050 with student email. SO the price has gotten more expensive.

Indeed it does, but I'm not 100% sure it works on open box items. I've heard conflicting reports that Citibank doesn't cover "used" items. However, the Citibank site says it covers "Purchases made...

Because occasionally I need to do some actual work on my laptop and it's a really nice feature to have especially if the laptop is 15" or larger.

Was it also an open-box laptop? If so, that's pretty awesome.

I've looked over the various documentation. Is there not a second drive bay? I know I can replace the main drive, but was hoping for a second bay.

I'm pretty happy with my walmart refurb Omen, especially when they credited me back ten percent. Occasionally comes back in stock at $644. It runs hot but I don't game and dialed it down to comfort...

Is it possible to run just the integrated graphics on these laptops to save battery life during office work? Or is there a driver conflict since you’d have to install both?
