They come in 2700, 3000, 3500, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 6500, but yes, this is definitely at the blue end of the spectrum.

Promoted affiliate. Has anyone had any luck with ETL/UL listings on these? I could not find any certification.

That reply was to another comment saying that "Fluorescent lights/CFL are in the 5k range so this must be a lot more blue?" I was responding generally that FL/CFL come in a wide variety of color...

I find them to actually be more green somehow, at least in my basement that’s how they look. They are weaker than I was expecting as a single bulb compared to a traditional fluorescent, but the price...

I was about to post the same thing. I was going to get the 10 pack last week but saw a review like this and agree 100%. Looking for a 5k set.

Any idea what type of wire I’d use if I wanted to extend ever further? The wire looks braided but a longer run may be better with solid wire? Was thinking it would be nice to get along my entire...

I just finished installing these in my basement (4000s) and they are very good. My only minor gripe is that the connectors can be a bit tough to slot in,u have to be aggressive with the light

I bought the 10 pk when they were $40. Hung all 10 daisy-chained to one outlet in my basement. Impressive lighting. Do wish the cables connecting them were slightly longer as I would've spaced...

As others have said, it uses a 3-wire prong ("mickey mouse") which is mostly there to force correct polarity - there are only 2x wires inside the cable, the "middle" connector is not doing anything. ...

The descriptions says 2200lm, 40w replacement. 2200lm is way brighter than a 40w. Closer to 200w incandescent equivalent. Probably not nearly as bright as they say.

I was thinking what if I took the existing connector and cut it and spliced in a new wire, that way the 3 way prong end is intact but I could extend the lights further between each run.
