I believe the digital copy redeems on Funimation's site. One benefit with Funimation is you have the option to watch with the original Japanese audio track, and you can toggle English subtitles...

I have it on DVD from like 16 years ago and a fully subbed+dubbed mkv version on computer. Any reason to get this on bluray? I have PS5 preordered... Does this one contain the uncensored scenes?

DVD stands for Digital Video Disc, which is what a Blu-ray disc is. So Blu-ray is a DVD, but an actual DVD isn’t a Blu-ray. He’s being literal.

No, unfortunately. These are just nice quality BluRays in a sweet aluminum case. They have a code for a digital copy too.

If all BluRays are DVDs, then at least some DVDs are BluRays. Also, where did you learn that from? Nothing I was able to find online suggests that's the case.
