Same here, regarding 9. It felt very derivative to me, as someone who'd played many RPGs. And I remember feeling like it was a big world, but only sparsely populated with interesting locations....

ff7 remake is a small part of ff7 there doing it like telltale by episodes. Play ff7 original first then remake but expect to wait 5 or so years for all episodes out.
