I agree with your assessment, but there is an important fact here. All the iOS devices can access to this, but they can't Xcloud. That is a big factor.

Plus you can use xCloud now to which is included free. How people don't see the benefit of the Xbox is beyond me. Play on Xbox, PC, Phone, etc etc.
