My Ikea are made in Japan. Slightly tighter fit than other batteries (due to the thick battery label), but good quality. As good as Eneloops imo.

Eneloops can sometimes be purchased at Costco for a good deal. As previously mentioned, I would be careful where you buy them due to bastards counterfeiting everything.

Do you mean the Mr Batt AAA that are only rated at 700 mAh? If so, that's the reason they're cheaper. Most decent AAAs are rated at a higher mAh capacity. Even the Amazon Basics Made in China...

Costco stopped carrying Eneloops. They recently brought in the Energizer rechargeables. And while I do think they are made in China, I have seen test that ranks them pretty high.
