This seems to be the normal price for this... I wonder if this means lower pricing for RTX 2060 based systems, and if so, what Black Friday deals will be like on systems like this. Nearly identical...

How does this compare to the Eluktronics RP-17? It seems to have the same basic specs for essentially the same price. The RP-17 has a Webcam, and I believe the screen has a better color gamut. But...

Honestly. Get it, if they lied, return it. And like most of slickdealers said, this seems like a 144hz. 240hz has different model number. https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ROG-Zephyrus-G15

It came back for a shorter time. This thing is selling like hot cake and going back and forth between these two prices. Keep an close eye on this deal as you never know when it may come back to this...

The link you have given, was checked by me earlier. It does not give any specific information about the exact model number. It is just differentiating between the GA502IV with RTX 2060 and GA502IU...

I think I was checking the same link you provided. Asus probably had an error there because the 1660ti models definitely have 144hz display

They save 20 cents on the connector and however much the ram's pcb costs. It's faster and more reliable to add the ram with the smt pick and place machines while assembling the rest of the...

I second this question - do any of the tech guys know why an OEM would do this? I always wondered myself. I'm a huge fan of the G14...but i would think that if you can wait for Black Friday, there's...

This is a great deal for what it is. I think the 240hz display is a nice touch.

The only thing is that this does not have a webcam which is a deal breaker for Zoom'ers

The GA502IV-XS76 is the one with the 240 hz panel, 1tb ssd, and Windows home pro. This looks like a Walmart exclusive.

As someone said before, soldering ram directly onto the board is cheaper than hiring someone to insert the ram manually. I mean, they have to solder the connector anyways. Might as well solder the...

Yes I don't like brightness aswell and the closed air vents on bottom cover. PC gets hot when using nvdia gpu. 144hz was expected I guess due to the model number but debating whether to keep or...

Forces direct support from manufacturer that's it. It's like they are in love with Apple products or something.

Mine arrived today, definitely the dim 144hz display :( Colors don't actually seem too bad but the max brightness is really disappointing.

This is a really good deal. Do know that the thermals are not so good as other Ryzen laptop. But its a thin and light which a lot of people prefer.

Regarding Display quality, your idea is wrong. This one has a far superior display, both for gaming and content creation. This is a 3 ms response time 240 Hz display vs 9 ms 144 Hz in RP-17 and...

Are you sure about that? When I typed in GA502 on google I also got the 144hz 45% display you talked about, but then when I searched for GA502IV-WS74, it showed 240hz on both ASUS site as well as...

WHY solder the ram??? This mfg saved jack doing that.. all they did was screw themselves out of a customer by including a deal breaker!!
