I got the 850 version which has HDR and a wider color gamut. You are right, these are monitors to love. Hoping Costco gets them back this year. They sold them for $279.

I bought a 4k 27" monitor from Dell that I'm going to be returning for this instead. 4k at 27" makes everything too tiny and even scaling it to 1080p while nice and sharp, kind of defeats the purpose...

Not the same thing. Most 120Hz TVs only take 60Hz input and scale it up.

Didn't use the stand that comes with it, as it's not adjustable. Got a separate stand from Monoprice that allows full range of adjustments and clamps to the desk.
