One of the auto part stores has this same filter but completely coated in the grip stuff now. They’re probably fine to use, but they probably heat up a bit more.

That doesn't make sense since the same filter part number can fit multiple makes and models, and each manufacturer and model can have different oil change intervals.

I would stick with the regular 5W-30 oil and oil filter along with 5000-6000 miles oil change. All the name brand stuffs are perfectly adequate for long engine life. The 5W-20 oil has similar fluid...

I run these or M1 for two oil changes. Roughly 16k - 18k per run. It fits Honda’s maintenance schedule and both options are better than he Honda filter.

This one is working, but very low end , only 95% filtering , even worse than cheaper Walmart Supertech 99% filtering. Most filters are 99% to 99%plus . 4% more dirt allowed into the engine wont kill...

Fram Ultras are very highly regarded oil filters on Bob Is the Oil Guy and other enthusiasts forums. They are, however, the only Fram oil filters I would use in my vehicles.
