Can you expand on this? I have a Dyson V6 and V7. Is this weaker than the Dyson? Is it worth it to get the Dewalt as well because it fills a hole that I don’t know that I have?

The suction is fine. It’s not meant for big jobs, just small cleanups. The issue with it is the wet vacuum part. It holds a tall glass of water, not a half gallon. Or essentially, it holds 2-3...

I had the 18v version, it was nice. The 20v not so much, much less suction than the 18v. No idea why... It is what it is. For $60 bucks would buy again.

Thanks OP! Very, very tempting at this price but am bit scared off by the reviews talking about weak suction. Since I'm also on Ryobi I think I'll hold off for their 3 gal 18v version to go on sale.

I have the 18v version of this. It’s great. If the suction is lacking you need to wash the filter. It’s reusable. A ton of dirt gets stuck in the filter pleats.
