Yeah the Peter Jackson Hobbit films were a travesty. The Hobbit should have been ONE three hour movie, not three of the damn things. That trilogy was 100% fan milking.

They did 3 weird cartoons over like 20 years for LOTR and all 3 were different animators. The 3rd one however was done by the same guy who did the hobbit and I believe both are the best of the 4...

If you have insomnia I definitely recommend these. I was excited to watch the hobbit with my gf and we both ended up falling asleep!

The Hobbit was wonderfully animated and the songs and music are so good! I enjoyed Peter Jackson's movies, but this is the true classic version.

Yes both titles are MA but if you search for LotR in the MoviesAnywhere App it will say that LotR is not available on Amazon. So for right now it looks like LotR will not show up in the MA library...

iTunes has both animated versions of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings for $4.99 as well. Bought both there, as I have a bunch of credit. Both LotR and Hobbit transferred into MA from iTunes.
