I ordered one to mostly use as a computer monitor so I hope so. I also hope it’s an IPS display. Hopefully it’s IPS because of the contrast ratio being so low.

Well, take a look here: https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/ips-led-vs-va-lcd "IPS typically have contrast ratios closer to 1000:1" And the specs say the contrast ration for this TV is 1000:1.
