Not true here though I have no idea the efficacy. We have blue bags to put compost in that is separated and industrially composted so can do bones, soiled pizza boxes and things otherwise not cool...

I believe all bagasse plates/Containers are made with " forever chemicals" so they really shouldn't be composted. Those toxic chemicals also transfer to your food and take a very long time to clear...
