I would say the yamaha or JBL sub models are not worth comparing with the monolith. To keep it below $1000, I suggest getting the monolith 12 inch ported for $799 now or wait for their next sale.

SVS killer?? Doubt it. I personally would add $800 and get the SVS PB 16 Ultra sub over this. Just saying, if your okay spending $1,200, $2,000 isn’t a stretch for top of line SVS.
