turn off all filtering on the 2502. if you are using BPF, you are chopping off on the LP at 30Hz and double roll off on the HP.

due to build quality reason why svs do not perform well that low and deep for a long period of time is for it to not blow out the amps. monolith doesn't suffer from that issue as much as svs.

I would say the yamaha or JBL sub models are not worth comparing with the monolith. To keep it below $1000, I suggest getting the monolith 12 inch ported for $799 now or wait for their next sale.
