It actually didn't install anything for me but I'm keeping it for bios updates. Its a pretty lean app, not bloated at all like the Vantage app.

That's not even close to how you compare processors....the $299 i3 at 1.2ghz has a CPU mark score of 5247 where as the $379 Ryzen 2.6ghz has a CPU mark score of 4072. Its 30% slower than the $299...

The battery doesn't pop out or anything. It may be removable if you take off the bottom plate but I can't say for sure.
